Nethra wa very well behaved when we went to the park for the first time. She saw deer, ducks and swans. She enjoyed the wash walk in the crisp cold breeze. She wore Aaru's pink snow suit. Again as usual key looked adorable!

Pleased to meet you!
Nethra has started to do the cutest thing. When you put your hand out towards her, she lifts her right hand and tries reaching out to you. She usually succeeds since her hand and eye coordination has improved so much.
Today she was shaking hands with Ajja and Nana. Beautiful sight...

Alone together
Nethra and I were alone together for six hours when her ajja and ammama went to watch the west end musical Wicked! in Apollo Victoria.
Both of us had fun and as usual Nethra was adorable. Although being alone with her once ajja and ammama leave is not going to be easy. It will however be a fun experience. xxx

Things I did today
Ond feb 18th, Nethra had her second round of immunizations. My brave baby cried for a few minutes as ajja distracted her and speed her the cars outside the window. Ammama decided to document where tiger injections were given and how wonderful Nethra was after it.
In the evening after nana for home, he put her on her chair and Nethra watched one of Ajja and Amma's all time favourite movies, Mughal-e-Azam. And with what interest she watched!

Valentine's day!

First train journey
Nethra's enjoyed her first train ride from isleworth to kingston with a change at twickenham. She was very quiet the first half on the journey while she took in all the sights.
On the way back she was fussy and there was her amma who was quickly trying to cut open the carton of milk and put it into the bottle while her daughter wailed! Alas, the child didn't want milk but wanted to be carried and once picked up she was perfectly fine. She was in her amma's and all the way till isleworth.
Me thinks the toughest part was getting to the station on time for the first journey. I wonder what her next adventure will be?!

Looking out
Thanks to ammama who is our "meerkat", Nethra is slowly beginning to show interest in the world outside the window. Everytime ammama carries her and takes her to the window she now looks outside and sees the buses, the people at the bus stop, the houses from across the roads, the triplets walking and seems interested in hustle and bustle! My baby is growing up!

Nethra has started holding in to the rattle, initially with I've hand but this week with both. She then tugs on to it and it ends up falling in her face. It must be painful but she doesn't realise it yet!

Getting ready to go out
Nethra was dressed for the first time in tights and a pretty blue dress was put on for her. She complained a bit so a small fed was given after which my old blue sweater was put on. However just as we were ready to leave it started to rain. So currently she has fallen asleep on ammama's shoulder and as I type this the rain has eased up and we should be getting out soon

Mother awake...
It is 3.30 a.m. and I am wide awake. Nethra was struggling to sleep last night so after a valiant effort by ammama I volunteered my services. I carried Nethra from 10.30 thinking she'll get up by 12 for her next feed. While watching tv, I too fell asleep only yup her up and see that it was past 1 a.m. and nethra and I were both asleep on the poang.
My kutti baby slept till a little past 2. She fed , got her nappy changed and gave me the sweetest smiles and fell asleep again. She it's an absolute doll...

Fast asleep
Nethra woke up after a bath but fell asleep again by sucking her thumb. Not the best habit but certainly is so step up from stuffing her entire fist in her mouth!
