Awwmma!

27/03/2013 is an important date because Nethra said amma for the very first time! It was lovely to hear her say it. She was in a good mood when she woke up, so I tried to get her to say amma and after two attempts she said 'Awwmma'. It sounded like music to my ears!

I guess seeing how thrilled I was, she is holding back all the good stuff to see her amma struggle! She hasn't said it after that but only gives her sweet smile when I try to get her to say it.

My daughter is brilliant and her 'awwmma' loves her to bits.

Nana goes ouch

Nethra was on Nana's knee tummy side down and as usual drooling all over him and attempting to east his pyjamas at the same time. All of a sudden Nana jumped up and wa slightly shocked when he raised that his daughter attempted to use his knee as teething soother when she bit him (without teeth of course). Needless to say she was promptly turned over onto her back and the knee was properly sympathized with!

Tesco outing

YesterdayNethra had her first outing to the big tesco. She was all dressed up since we were experiencing snow flurries and rain. It was thankfully a good experience since Nethra managed to fall asleep through most of it and didn't complain much when we constantly moved her from car seat to pram and back

Final booster.. For now..

Last of the set of three shots were given to Nethra yesterday. As we stepped in to Mrs.Cole's room things were fine but that didn't last too long as Nethra stayed crying even before she had the injections. It was as if she knew what was coming. So showed no signs of stopping so the injections were quickly given. three minute we stepped out of the room she stopped crying! It was quite amazing! Her next one is a week after her first birthday. Yipee!!!

The new lap

Nethra's new lap similar to Ajja's. Thinner, hairier and newer model and she likes it! (with nana, in case legs confused with amma's)

Just the beginning

Yesterday nethra held onto her toes and turned onto her side in the afternoon. After that she showed off to her nana when he came home in the evening. All on the playmat. She tried doing it in the bed and the changing mat and was successful!

Touching toes

Nethra decided that this morning was a good time to hold on to her toes! She's managed to his the right one for a long time, but with the left one she needed some help. Out was very cute to see how she pulled her legs up and tried to coordinate with get hands and eyes to grab the toes!

Propah Londoner

Nethra like all other commuters reading (eating) her copy of the Evening Standard. This was on the Southern train from as London Victoria to Clapham Junction after a busy day meeting and greeting all of her amma's colleagues at the DLG office in Bromley.
She was accompanied by Ajja and Ammama and Amma.

The first picture was taken after Nethra was with Ajja and Ammama when her amma was at the indian consulate. Nethra was asleep when her amma got home and when she woke up she was thrilled to bits to see her amma!
